Covid-19 and Tuberculosis. Lessons Learned, workshop

On November 19, 2022, the National Center of Pulmonology of the RA Ministry of Health organized the event “Covid-19 and Tuberculosis. Lessons Learned” workshop, which was attended by Levon Chilingaryan, assistant of HIV prevention programs, communication coordinator of New Generation Humanitarian NGO, and Henry Roland Aleksanyan, outreach of HIV prevention programs.

During the workshop, the tuberculosis situation in Armenia was presented, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the provision of tuberculosis-related services by the National TB Program in Armenia.

Artak Manukyan, director of the National Center of Pulmonology of the RA Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, considers cooperation with NGOs very important. At the suggestion of Levon Chiliningarian, they discussed the development of mechanisms between the center and the NGO, which will be used in the future.
