THE FIRST TRAINING OF 2020 AT POLICE EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF ARMENIA
From January 2020 the cooperation between New Generation Humanitarian NGO and RA Police Educational Center continued. In the scope of this cooperation requalification trainings are organized by NGNGO on topics of Human Rights Protection: Domestic and International Mechanisms and Freedom of Speech/Restrictions, the Right to Free Assembly at the department of requalification and certification of the Police Education Center. 2 trainings took place on January 21 and 22 within the framework of this cooperation. The
training sessions were conducted among junior group of police officers.
On the first training day, January 21, 2019 NGNGO expert Ara Ghazaryan presented the topic of The Right to be Free from Torture to 16 police officers of junior group.
On January 22, NGNGO expert, defense-lawyer Anahit Mkrtchyan presented the topics of
Human Rights Protection: Domestic and International Mechanisms and Freedom of
Speech/Restrictions to the same group of 16 police officers.
The training sessions included active discussions, questions and answers.
At the end of each class the participants were handed certificates of participation.
Future collaboration in this format is also intended with the Police Education Center.
