Right to Health – for a Better Future | Gyumri
In June 2025, New Generation Humanitarian NGO organized a training at the Gyumri DropIn Center, dedicated to the right to health.
The session was led by lawyer Shushan Khnkoyan, who presented the concept of the right to health, its legal foundations, and the practical tools that every citizen can use to protect their rights within the healthcare system.
Key issues discussed included:
• How to identify whether one’s right to health has been violated
• What steps to take in case of violations
• Where and how to seek legal or institutional support
• What obligations the state holds in this area
The seminar was held in an interactive format. Participants shared their personal experiences, voiced the challenges they have faced in medical institutions, and received practical legal advice on how to address them.
During the session, New Generation Humanitarian NGO also presented its services aimed at protecting the health and rights of vulnerable groups, and providing social support.
Such events contribute to raising legal awareness, building trust, and empowering individuals to navigate the healthcare system with confidence.
