Information + Confidence + Protection: In Yerevan DropIn Center, Sexual Health and HIV Prevention Were Discussed with Russian-speaking Migrants.

In June 2025, at the Yerevan Drop-In Center, the New Generation Humanitarian NGO held a seminar-training for its Russian-speaking beneficiaries. The training was led by Levon Chilingaryan.

Topic: “I Make Decisions About Myself: Sexual Health and Responsible Behavior.”
Participants received information about HIV transmission routes, prevention methods, and learned about PrEP and PEP medications. Practical steps for safe and informed behavior were also discussed.

Levon Chilingaryan noted:
“Many people remain uncertain about their rights and health due to language and informational barriers. Meetings like this create a space of opportunity where people can regain confidence and a sense of protection.”

The seminar became a platform for knowledge exchange, mutual understanding, and support.

New Generation Humanitarian NGO continues to support and develop the potential of various communities, creating a healthy, safe, and inclusive environment.
