Pandemic Preparedness, Migration and Health. NGNGO participates in EECA regional meeting on Innovating and Adapting Global Fund Grants to new realities

 

On September 19-20, 2024, NGNGO President Sergey Gabrielyan participated in the EECA regional meeting held in Samarkand city of Uzbekistan, on the topic of Preparedness for Pandemics: Migration and Health where innovations and adaptations in Global Fund grants to the region’s migration and other related realities were discussed.

 

 

Representatives from active civil societies in the field, state institutions, and other stakeholders shared as well as got acquainted with innovative approaches in response to the migration realities influenced by various regional and global factors, in response to pandemic outbreaks, and in support of ensuring health care, the sustainability and accessibility of services for key populations.
