Memorandum of Understanding on exchange and development of the youth and civil society organizations between NGNGO and BJR.
“Due to the cooperation between New Generation Humanitarian NGO (NGNGO) and Bavarian Youth Council (BJR) the youth from Armenia and Germany have had the chance to take part in exchange projects and be trained as youth workers since 2019”, says NGNGO president Sergey Gabrielyan who leads the delegation from the organization to take part in annual meeting of Bavarian Youth Council (BJR) in Germany.
The main purpose of the visit is to sign Memorandum of Understanding on exchange and development of the youth and civil society organizations between NGNGO and BJR.
“The young people selected through an open call will take part in relevant courses; get acquainted with the activities of organizations dealing with youth issues in Germany. All this will be combined with cultural-cognitive visits to form a complete picture of both Armenia and Germany”, says Sergey Gabrielyan.
Within the framework of the visit, we also visited BJR Munich office, as well as had meetings with a number of youth organizations”, added Anahit Mkrtchyan, NGNGO lawyer, emphasizing that within the framework of the visit numerous cultural and cognitive tours were organized for the representatives of New Generation Humanitarian NGO, including the fortress of King Ludwig II (Neuschwanstein), the Hitler concentration camp in Dachao, where people were kept and killed on the basis of their nationality or religion, social status, sexual orientation and other characteristics.
On October 17-24, New Generation Humanitarian NGO representatives visited the Federal Republic of Germany with the financial support of the Bavarian Youth Council (BJR).
