It was a long internal struggle: LGBTIQ in Eastern Europe

LGBTIQ people are a highly stigmatised and discriminated in many Eastern European countries. Meet Alex, a person who is confronted with social homo- and transphobia, difficulties in accessing health services and employment problems and is forced to look for a better place in other cities and countries.   Deutsche Aidshilfe produced this explanatory film with financial support from the German Foreign Office, as part of the programme “Expansion of Cooperation with Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia”.
