ON FEBRUARY 1, TRAININGS ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND PEACE BUILDING FOR LOCAL YOUTH TOOK PLACE IN BERD

On February 1, trainings on human rights and peace building for local youth took place in Berd. In the introductory part of the training, the goals and activities of the Frontline youth network NGO were presented. The importance of youth involvement in community development was discussed.
The conflict resolution types were presented with Practical exercises and activities. An interesting discussion took place on the connection between peacebuilding and human rights. It was noted that peace is a key precondition for the normal existence of human rights. They also talked about human rights theory and main directions, legal regulations.
We expressed our gratitude to the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) Berd office for hosting the training.
