In the scope of cooperation between New Generation Humanitarian NGO (NGNGO) and Bavarian Youth Council (BJR) 20 young people in Armenia participate in a youth exchange program in Germany, from June 10 to 16, 2019. The exchange intends preparation and internship of youth workers, provision of knowledge and experience in the field, as well as many opportunities of study trips, internships and training courses. The youth exchange takes place in the organizations of Bavaria, Germany.
During the exchange the Armenian youth will get to know the youth work and the activity of youth organizations in Germany. Besides the exchange also includes many cultural study trips and numerous events.
On July 22, 2018, at the invitation of New Generation Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization, the delegation of the Bavarian Youth Council headed by BJR President Matthias Fack arrived in Yerevan. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the existing youth issues and needs in Armenia, to share experiences and find ways of cooperation.
On October 17-24, NGNGO representatives visited Germany to sign Memorandum of Cooperation with BJR.
The participants of the youth exchange were selected on a competitive basis․ 20 young people were selected from 180 applicants.
